The 12 Days of Las Vegas Christmas Galavantier Style

Christmas is really about giving and not receiving and hugging your family members and sitting around a huge table with friends and family and generally trying not to say a bad word about anybody…ugh. Let’s just think about Christmas in Las Vegas instead. In fact I’m about to give you 12 straight days of Christmas all the way up to that in between time after Christmas eve and New Years day.

Before you start writing the nasty email about the 12 Days of Christmas actually starting after Christmas day, on Boxing day for my Canadian friends, I know that. However, we need ideas for our very own happy approach to Christmas in Las Vegas and frankly once the New Year’s Eve excitement starts nobody wants to hear about Christmas anymore in Las Vegas.

I’m not really going to sing the song. I’m attempting to get you in that festive mood that is Christmas. Here are twelve ideas for some Christmas fun in Las Vegas

Explore Mandalay Bay Resort

This hotel has long been atop my list of favorites because it has a certain level of classy, luxury and comfortable attributes. It’s not a super luxury resort although it has a tendency to feel that way. It’s also no longer the hippest spot on the Las Vegas strip although it can hold its own. It’s not cheap and it’s not necessarily convenient either. What it does well is keep you entertained, fed and very happy. – Read More…

Carnevino for the Carnivore

For the carnivore there is no better experience than a steak house that takes care of all the details when it comes to the product that they bring out to their guests. Carnevino is exactly that spot. They know the cow. They know the cow’s mom and dad. They know where that cow ate and how much they ate. After all the details are adhered to they also dry age that piece of beef and give it the respect that you should give a living thing that has given its life for our enjoyment. – Read More…

Enjoy Some Beers in Las Vegas

Sometimes it seems like there are two kinds of people in this world: Those who love beer. And people we don’t really understand. Some things are sacred. In Vegas, not very much. But one thing this city takes very seriously is Italian food.
